For the expansion of our activities of SAT LLC in South Carolina (USA) we are looking for a

Service Manager (m/f/d)

(permanent or temporary)

Your tasks:

– Support of the installation and commissioning of Group Sterling equipment (e.g. filling, gluing, VIN marking) at customers’ sites
– On site first level support / troubleshooting support for our service team
– First level support / Troubleshooting by phone and on customers’ sites
– First contact for customer for after sales activities
– Build and maintain relationships with customers maintenance team
– Train and instruct customer maintenance team
– Carrying out maintenance work and calibration of measuring instruments
– Providing training and ramp-up support
– Handling of service and maintenance orders
– Ordering parts needed for maintenance if needed
– Manage supplier network in North America (rental equipment, tools, urgently needed parts, etc.)
– Developing the capabilities of SAT LLC
– Support of the SAT/NKE Sales Team (onsite visits during offer phase etc.)

Your profile:

– Independent and organized way of working and practical management skills
– Technical (mechanical and/or electrical, electrical preferred) qualification
– Ability to install, repair, service, test, analyze and troubleshoot equipment
– Ability to read mechanical drawings, flow diagrams and electrical diagrams
– Knowledge in the field of fluidics and pneumatics
– Excellent communication, organizational and project management skills
– Experience in the automotive industry and with production equipment
– Very good spoken and written English skills
– Structured and organized personality
– Ready to move the center of life to South Carolina, USA
