STEADY – this is the name of the latest generation of individual or combined filling systems with a stationary console from SAT STERLING. These systems are suitable for various applications, for example for decentralized media filling in manufacturing, reworking or prototype construction. SAT-STEADY filling systems can also be used in the intermittent production of motor vehicles or commercial vehicles.

SAT-STEADY filling systems impress with their low space requirement in the direct working area of the vehicle. The possible combination of all common filling processes allows the vehicle to be filled in parallel. In intermittent line operation, SAT-STEADY filling systems allow a traversing unit to be retrofitted. SAT-STEADY filling systems offer the globally recognized process and filling quality of SAT STERLING, regardless of where they are used.

Cost efficiency

Both single and combination filling systems from SAT Sterling have a high proportion of identical parts across all processes. The resulting low parts variance leads to low costs for spare parts storage.


In combined systems, the cross-process sharing of a control system leads to savings in control technology.


The base unit can be placed at some distance from the line at the same height or on a maintenance platform. This offers the greatest possible flexibility in production line planning.


Individual and combined, mobile filling systems are characterized by their low space requirement directly on the line. This allows more valuable working space.


The design of STEADY systems can be based on the SAT-STERLING-MOVABLE systems for line operation, but can also be designed as a decentralized individual solution for manufacturing or prototype construction.

The filling process runs 100% automatically with SAT Sterling filling systems. The worker starts the process at the touch of a button - we do the rest, reliably and with maximum precision.

95% automatic: SAT STERLING filling systems offer up to 95 automated handling. Remove the adapter, put it on, click it in - done. The rest runs completely automatically.

Integrated IT

Whether programming standard or production system connection - the control technology of SAT STERLING filling systems is always customized. The design in accordance with customer standards enables SAT STERLING filling systems to be fully integrated into the plant's IT concept.


Regardless of the filling medium or system type - SAT STERLING filling adapters are drip-free.


The filling system consists of a basic unit, a stationary console and the filling adapter. The basic unit in turn consists of mechanical cabinets, which contain the filling modules for the respective medium, and the control cabinet. The mechanical enclosures and control cabinet are mounted on a common base frame.
The basic unit can be positioned either on a platform or at some distance from the place of use. One basic unit can supply and control several stationary consoles. With a SAT STEADY COMBI, the entire control technology for all filling modules is integrated in a single control cabinet.
A stationary console consists of the filling module and the proportional control technology, which are each housed in separate, small enclosures. With the STEADY COMBI, the console control technology of the various filling modules is located in a single housing.

The console is installed stationary at the place of use and the adapter for vehicle filling is connected directly to the mobile console either via an adapter connection plate or via quick-release couplings. This means that the adapter and hose set can be replaced quickly at any time.
SAT-STERLING filling adapters are drip-free and can be equipped with a special sensor system for pressure and vacuum measurement. The integrated sensor system enables the process values to be recorded – as close to the vehicle system as possible.
SAT-STERLING-STEADY filling systems are tailored to the individual requirements of our customers. Components are selected according to customer standards or based on the SAT standard that has been successfully tested for decades.

Integration and automation

Like all SAT-STERLING filling systems, the COMPACT filling systems also offer the full range of production system connectivity. These include: internal recipe maintenance, registration via hand scanner and printout of results on vehicle accompanying card, central recipe control via a server system with automatic vehicle recognition (via scanner, camera or RFID) and the final storage of the filling results in the existing production system. The actual filling process typically runs fully automatically after the button on the filling adapter is pressed – regardless of the connection to the production system.
