To strengthen our “Project Management” team based in Dägeling near Itzehoe (northwest of Hamburg), we are looking for the next possible date for a

Technical editor (m/f/d) / (project) employee (m/f/d) for technical documentation

Your tasks:

• You are responsible for creating the complete technical documentation – consisting of operating, installation and service instructions – for our plant and system solutions and ensure that the documentation is provided on time.
• You revise existing documents and adapt them to new requirements (incorporation of applicable standards and guidelines).
• You prepare training documents for customers.
• You take care of document compilation both digitally and in paper form.
• You will be involved in the standardization of technical documentation.
• You support the technical project management with technical elaborations.

Your profile:

• You have successfully completed a technical apprenticeship, an additional qualification as a technician (m/f/d) or a technical degree (e.g. mechanical or process engineering).
• Ideally, you have completed training as a technical writer (m/f/d) and preferably have experience in creating technical documentation.
• You have a good technical understanding.
• You have good verbal skills and the ability to present complex technical content in an understandable way.
• You have excellent communication and teamwork skills and are open to new ideas.
• You have a structured and transparent way of working and count perseverance in following up on open issues among your strengths.
• You enjoy optimizing internal processes in the field of technical documentation.
• Good written and spoken English skills round off your profile.
